New Delhi 1 Dec 2009 - The Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Gen J J Singh presented today the NRI Institute Bharat Samman to the President of the Republic of Mauritius H E Sir Anerood Jugnauth in recognition of creating a special bond between India and Mauritius. The Award is a tribute from the people of India to the respected President of Mauritius for spearheading a journey of friendship between the two countries, woven together by threads of a common cultural heritage.
